This Privacy Policy applies to the Diamond Dot Art app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by Loef Studio (collectively, the "Application"). Loef Studio is hereby referred to as the "Service Provider".
No Account Required
The Application does not offer or require account registration. You do not create a username or password, and the Service Provider does not ask you for your name, email address, phone number, or other directly identifying information in order to use the Application. Your game progress is stored on your device and, if you have enabled it, in your personal Apple iCloud account, which is controlled by you and not by the Service Provider.
Information Collection and Use
The Service Provider does not operate its own analytics servers and does not collect your game progress or gameplay history. The information described below is collected by the advertising service the Application uses, and may include:
- Your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address, and the coarse location derived from it
- Your mobile operating system version and device model
- Your advertising identifier (IDFA), where you have permitted tracking
- Your interactions with the advertisements shown in the Application
This information is used to deliver, measure, and improve the advertising shown in the Application, as described in the "Advertising" section below. Because the Application has no sign-up, the Service Provider does not ask you to provide personally identifiable information such as your name, birth date, or gender.
Separately, Apple may provide the Service Provider with aggregated statistics and crash reports through App Store Connect, based on the analytics settings you control on your device inSettings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements. This information is aggregated by Apple and does not identify you individually.
Advertising
The Application displays advertisements through Google AdMob. To serve, measure, and improve these advertisements, AdMob and its partners may collect and process information such as your advertising identifier (IDFA), IP address, device and operating system information, coarse location derived from your IP address, and your interactions with ads.
On iOS, the Application will ask for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt before your advertising identifier is used to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you. You can change this choice at any time inSettings › Privacy & Security › Tracking on your device, or limit ad personalization in Settings › Privacy & Security › Apple Advertising.
Where required by applicable law (for example, in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), the Application presents a consent message before non-essential advertising and measurement technologies are used, and you may change or withdraw your consent from within the Application.
You can learn more about how Google uses information from apps that use its services athttps://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Subscriptions and Purchases
The Application offers optional paid subscriptions (for example, an ad-free experience and additional content). All subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store using your Apple Account.
- The Service Provider never receives or stores your payment card number, billing address, or Apple Account credentials. Payment is handled entirely by Apple.
- The Application receives a transaction receipt and subscription status from Apple in order to validate your purchase and unlock the features you paid for. This information is associated with your device and purchase, not with a registered account.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can view, manage, or cancel your subscription at any time inSettings › [your name] › Subscriptions on your device.
- Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's policies. Requests can be submitted athttps://reportaproblem.apple.com.
Apple's handling of your purchase data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy athttps://www.apple.com/legal/privacy.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Application or its third-party SDKs may use cookies, SDKs, pixels, and similar technologies to support functionality, advertising, or service delivery. Where required by applicable law, the Service Provider will obtain consent before using non-essential tracking technologies.
Third Party Access
Aggregated and anonymized data may be periodically transmitted to external services to help the Service Provider improve the Application and its service. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties only in the ways described in this privacy statement.
Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own privacy policies about handling data. Below are links to the privacy policies of the third-party service providers used by the Application:
- Google AdMob —https://support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543
- Apple (App Store, iCloud) —https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy
The Service Provider may disclose automatically collected information:
- as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
- when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
- with their trusted service providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information the Service Provider discloses to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
International Data Transfers
The Service Provider or its third-party service providers may transfer personal data to countries outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, the Service Provider will use appropriate mechanisms, such as:
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission
- Adequacy decisions or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms
- Your consent, where required and legally permitted
Data protection laws in other countries may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required by law, the Service Provider will apply appropriate safeguards and obtain any consent required for the transfer.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data held by the Service Provider. To exercise these rights, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, contact the Service Provider atcontact@loefstudio.com.
Because the Application has no accounts, the Service Provider may be unable to identify data relating to you without additional information such as your advertising identifier. In that case, the Service Provider may ask you for details needed to locate the relevant data, or explain why the request cannot be fulfilled.
Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.
The Service Provider does not sell your personal information for money. However, the use of advertising identifiers for personalized advertising may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA/CPRA. You may opt out by declining the App Tracking Transparency prompt, by enabling Limit Ad Tracking in your device settings, or by contacting the Service Provider atcontact@loefstudio.com.
Opt-Out Rights
You can stop further collection of information from your mobile device by uninstalling the Application. Uninstalling will stop the Application from collecting data from your device, but it does not automatically delete information that has already been transmitted to the Service Provider or to third parties.
To request deletion of your personal data, to withdraw consent, or to exercise any of your rights, contact the Service Provider atcontact@loefstudio.com.
Data Retention Policy
The Service Provider retains personal data based on its necessity for the stated purposes:
- Automatically Collected Data: Retained for up to 24 months from collection, unless longer retention is required for legal compliance
- Purchase and Subscription Records: Retained as long as required for tax, accounting, and legal compliance purposes
- Aggregated and Anonymized Data: Retained indefinitely as it no longer identifies you
- Data required for legal compliance: Retained as long as required by applicable law
You may request deletion of your personal data, subject to any legal obligation to retain it. To make such a request, please contact the Service Provider atcontact@loefstudio.com.
Children
The Application is not directed to children under 13 years of age, or such higher age as required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from children or market the Application to them, and does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children in violation of applicable law.
Where parental or guardian consent is required under applicable law, the Application is not intended for use without that consent. In the event the Service Provider discovers that a child has provided personal information, the Service Provider will delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided the Service Provider with personal information, please contact the Service Provider atcontact@loefstudio.comso that they will be able to take the necessary actions.
Security
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.
Data Breach Notification
If a data breach occurs that affects your personal data, the Service Provider will notify you in accordance with applicable legal requirements, including, where required, providing information about the nature of the breach and the steps being taken to address it.
Changes
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy with an effective date. Where required by law, the Service Provider will seek your consent to material changes before they take effect.
Previous versions of this Privacy Policy will be maintained and made available upon request by contacting the Service Provider atcontact@loefstudio.com.
This Privacy Policy is effective as of 2026-07-17.
Your Consent
Where processing is based on consent, you provide that consent by affirmatively opting in to the relevant feature or action. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. Processing based on other lawful bases is carried out as described above.
