Diamond Dot Art
Digital gem embroidery for iPhone and iPad.
You tap gems onto a numbered grid, one bead at a time, and a picture comes up out of it. Every bead answers with a sound and a small haptic click. There is no fail state and no clock — the whole game is the texture of doing it.
How it plays
Beads that catch the light
Every gem is a faceted 3D bead drawn in real time, at up to 120 frames a second on ProMotion screens. Turn the board and the facets turn with it.
One tap, one click
Each bead lands with its own placement sound and a small haptic tap. The rhythm of filling a row is the game.
Patterns keep arriving
A catalogue of themed and seasonal patterns that updates without an app update, so there is always a next picture to start.
Your photos, as patterns
Pick a photo and the app turns it into a numbered bead pattern you can fill in.
Keep what you make
Finished pieces get a completion animation, can be saved to Photos, and can be shared straight from the app.
Nothing to fall behind on
No timers, no lives, no streaks. Leave a pattern half-done for a month and it is exactly where you left it.
